Testimonials
"Patrick improved the quality of my life by about 100%. Through hard work and positive encouragement Patrick has made a HUGE difference in my life! So I want to thank YOU for allowing me to have access to such a gifted therapist! Your facility is extremely fortunate to have such a fine person of tremendous quality on your staff. I feel qualifed to say that because I have "tested" about 10 or 12 others here in the valley and no one here was as knowledgable or informed regarding the latest treatments for brain injuries. They weren't even close! Patrick is highly skilled and is constantly researching and learning new techniques to help us! I hold him in high esteem and I am not the only one. When I was researching places to go to help me, I emailed the Saebo offices and they wholeheartedly vouched for Patrick and informed me that he was an excellent therapist. And they were correct! Hang on to Patrick Pinkart...he is a WINNER!"
Thank you very much,
Julie
"After my traumatic brain injury in February of 2003, I went to six occupational and physical therapists to treat my left-side hemiplegia. Although I re-gained the use of my left leg, my left-hand was still completely non-functional in everyday activities; although I did have limited shoulder mobility and stability.
Patrick Pinkart was the seventh and last therapist I saw. After working with a Saeboflex hand exerciser for only a month, I observed a significant increase in movement of my left hand. That was after the first month. In the following months, I worked with the Saeboflex approximately 3-4 hours per day gaining increased mobility and strength each day. This time commitment though was not compatible with the rigors of school and the Saeboflex regiment became less consistent. I had regained some more mobility, but my left hand was still non-functional in everyday activities. This is when Patrick suggested Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT).
The next summer, I restarted my Saeboflex regiment for 2 weeks and then began this intensive program. I did not have anyone helping me during the next weeks except for Patrick. This made the program extremely difficult because I did not have anyone to help after Patrick went home. Additionally, we only did a 2 week session. Regardless, after finishing the CIMT program, I was able to use my left hand in some everyday activities which I had not been able to do for the past 3 years.
I am continuing to use my left hand in more and more activities everyday, but some deficit still persists. This is why I am looking forward to seeing Patrick again for another longer session of CIMT. Although CIMT strengthened the muscles in my left hand and arm, the most important gain I made due to this program was a new way of thinking about everyday life. Because of this program, I now try to use my left hand as if it were non-impaired. This in itself has led to continued gains in strength and mobility."

"I first met Patrick Pinkart, my rehabilitation therapist, six years ago when my medical doctor referred me to him.
I had experienced a debilitating stroke that left me with deficits in speech, sensory-motor perception, balance, strength, walking, and mobility, particularly in the right side. t found Patrick to be a highly intelligent and supportive therapist who correctly diagnosed my problems and rapidly put me on an effective physical rehabilitation schedule. He was able to coordinate my rehabilitation program with my medical doctor and other medical team specialists to optimize my recovery.
With Patrick Pinkart's guidance I recovered from my disabilities within a few months and soon thereafter I was able to return to my work as a professional psychotherapist. I have a great deal to thank him for. I would certainly recommend him as an occupational therapist of the highest caliber."
Sincerely,
Ernest
